Pierce Sweeney's Testimonial
Pierce Sweeney is a huge fans favourite at Exeter City FC, a club he has called home for a large part of his professional career. An Irish international at various youth levels including U21, “Sweenz” joined Exeter City in 2016 and quickly became a key member of the squad.
Known for his leadership and full on commitment when playing, he was the obvious choice for club captain, a role that he is fiercely proud. The Adam Stansfield Foundation
Established in 2010, the Adam Stansfield Foundation honors footballer Adam Stansfield, who died from bowel cancer at 31. The charity promotes youth football and bowel cancer awareness, granting resources to young people (up to 18) in Devon, Herefordshire, and Somerset for active lifestyles through football.
Over £400,000 has been raised, aiding over 50,000 youth through schools and clubs. In 2023, Adam's son, Jay Stansfield, became the Foundation's patron, continuing his father's legacy and inspiring young athletes.
Mind Over MND
Mind Over MND, launched in 2023, is a UK initiative by Pete Eveleigh's loved ones after his 2022 MND diagnosis. It aims to boost MND awareness, support those affected, and fund research. Their "Mind Over MND" philosophy highlights resilience.
They raise funds via their #MerchWithMeaning apparel, with all profits split between Pete's treatment fund (TeamEvo vs MND) and the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation, which supports research and patients. They also engage in community events to spread awareness and build solidarity.
